Kotooshu, Euro Champ Stoyanov Bulgaria's Top Sumo Wrestlers
Bulgaria's Sumo Federation picked Bulgarian Kotooshu, Kaloyan Mahlyanov,recently earned an ozeki promotion in Japan, and Petar Stoyanov for Bulgaria's best sumo wrestlers for 2005.
Mahlyanov earned the ozeki promotion through 19 tournaments, thus beating the now former best achievement of 24 tournaments.
Stoyanov became a European champion and swept the silver medal at the world championship.
The awarding ceremony was attended by Japan's Ambassador to Bulgaria who received Kotooshu's award and will give it to him once he returns to Bulgaria.
The Sumo Federation circulated a declaration calling for the release of the Bulgarian nurses sentenced to death in Libya.
